Thanks! That's what I needed. Any idea when the new method will be

added? I'm also going to have to write a handler for endnotes, which

means when the user inserts one, I'll have to traverse backwards from

the insert position to find the number of the preceding note, in order

to find its number; then I'll have to renumber any subsequent notes. A

method for traversing the items in the order they appear in the text

will be really useful.
