However, data loss is still present in my application, so I still need your help. After realizing that data loss appears only depending on certain conditions, I decided to describe more precisely how to reproduce it "ad hoc": 1. Start test app with TRichViewEdit. 2. Type in some non-hyperlink text, for example "test ". 3. Copy/paste hyperlink from another app (could be from my email) so that text looks like: test http://hyperlink1 4. Press VK_RETURN in the middle of hyperlink, so that text looks like: test http://hyper link1 (note that differently from MS Outlook the item "link1" is still a hyperlink, so that now there are two hyperlink items in the control) 5. Select items "http://hyper" and "link1" 6. Perform CopyRTF, then Paste - carriage return is lost between hyperlink items. Important notes: n1. Saving to .rtf file and loading back works just fine - the problem exists only with copying/pasting text as RTF. n2. Copying/pasting as RVF works just fine. Best regards, Andrew Chichlowski. |
