Posted: 12/07/2004 20:30:42 its a simple procedure. i shall outline the logic here... - create table. (1 x 8) - repeat - for each column insert string into table.cells item & format - insert a row - until table.height < 510 pixels - delete the empty row - add item to rve. subsequently i discovered that the table.height returns proper values after i add the table to rve. also, on hindsight, i think that the problem could be occuring because i am using setitemtext to insert strings. (??) my strings are clear... no cr/lf/tabs/break chars. to help you debug... -i had a para style with -15 first line indent/30 left - text style using 13 point - all default rve options - my first two rows returned 38 as the height and were displayed as two "lines". the word wrap is perfect. - the next line returned 19 as the height which was again OK. - after this i start getting values like 76/95 for rows which should have 19 as height. regards -sam "Sergey Tkachenko" <svt@trichview.com> wrote: >Please send me a sample project reproducing this problem. > >> Hi Sergei, >> >> i am inserting strings in a table & formatting the cells. i get correct >cell >> heights for the first 3 rows. after that all the height properties are >> returning incorrect values. yet my table(23 x 8) is being displayed >> correctly. i am checking the height after formatting the cells. even the >> final table height property is returning incorrect value. >> >> can you please tell me a way to find the correct table.height ? >> >> > > |
