Scrolling slowing down

Hello.

I've encountered such a problem - when scrolling large document with

page up/page down and mouse cursor is somewhere in RichView window,

scrolling becomes quite slow. When cursor is outside of Richview window,

speed of scrolling is acceptable (2-3 times faster).

My application process OnRVDblClick and OnKeyDown events of TRichView.

Configuration:

P3-400, 256 RAM, Windows XP Pro with all of the effects turned off,

and 16MB Nvidia card.

The question is: how could I speed up scrolling under conditions

described earlier?
