I confirm the problem with alternative unicode keyboard input and

DBRichViewEdit.

It will be fixed in the next update.

If you are a registered user, open RVEdit.pas, find

procedure TCustomRichViewEdit.WMKeyDown(var Message: TWMKeyDown);

and add the line

            if not BeforeChange(False) then exit;

before the line:

            TRVEditRVData(RVData).DeleteSelection_;
