Problem with AddNL

Hi there,

I'm starting my first test project, and trying to do the simplest thing:

add text to a TRichViewEdit. This is my code:

   rveMain.AddNL(This is a test project. ', 0, 0);

   rveMain.Format;

However, when I do this, all I see are square boxes (one for each

character), followed by an unidentified character at the end. The font

setting is Arial. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong? This

is v 1.8 in Delphi 5 on Windows 2000.
