Position of carret inside the current item

Hello,

How can I get the position of carret inside the current item.

The GetselectionBound method work fine when I click

in the item, but when I move inside it with the keyboard, I don't get the

right position.

The method GetCurrentLineCol(row, col) give me the position of the carret

in the line but not in the current item.

example: this is a test to explain.

if my carret is in the word 'test' after the letter 'e' I want to receive

the position 2 for the carret inside the word 'test'

Could you give me a solution
