Right now I have to think if the user > will need to insert or not any OLE objects directly into the document. > > Michael Hi, I don't see what you are missing if you embed ole-Objects into richview documents which you can do already now by inserting Tolecontainer-controls like in the example ( in the example you only paste, but new insert is easily implemented ) This is the right direction to do it. Maybe ToleContainer could be more optimized, maybe it has a few bugs, I don't know how it has changed in the last Delphi versions. I only use this embedding sometimes for formula-objects from mathType and it works perfectly , there was also sometime (2 years ago) a bug in ToleContainer for using formula-objects with autosize, I improved it, but I don't remember it at the moment.
