I found my own workaround (a bit too long to expose here) but I think it's

a minus for your component. I use it quite extensively, and I appreciate

it of course, but I think it would be much better with

1/ full Drag and Drop event.

2/ IDs for items (RVData autoinc value), in order to found them even when

their index has changed - quite an old debate we could have about many components

(e.g TImageList). 

The App I am writing implements a main editor plus a small one (2 DBRVEdit).

The small one is used to associate notes to the RVData of the first one :

that's why I miss Item Ids and D&Drop so much...
