Posted: 09/25/2002 20:12:59 I did not study deeply a metafile structure, but... TMetafile has size defined in Width,Height (in pixels) and MMWidth, MMHeigh (in 0.01 of millimeter). These sizes can be different. Word always uses size defined in MMWidth, MMHeigh. It looks like Delphi TMetafile initially uses (Width,Height), but on reloading adjusts (Width,Height) according to (MMWidth, MMHeigh). I am afraid I can do nothing... The only way to prevent it - explicitly define image width and heigh via RichView extra item properties (RichView does it automatically for metafiles loaded from RTF). PS: please send large files to my by e-mail, packaged in zip. Do not post large attachments in the newsgroup. > > Anyhow, the problems is with an enhanced metafile created from TChart. > With > > a normal metafile (*.wmf) there is no problem, only with a enhanced > metafile > > (*.emf). This is the same behaviour as in RichViewEdit for "Insert Picuture". > When saved and reloaded in Word they keep their (different) sizes. > > Benedikt > > |
