Merging Cells change content of other cells

Dear Sergey,

i have a problem when splitting cells.

For example you have a table with 4 colums and 3 rows. Each cell have text

inside.

if you split i.e. cell[2,2] (first index is row) in 2 rows and 2 columns

(1 cell will be 4 cells) then

the following cells get an empty line before the text.

cell (2,1), (2,3), (2,4), (3,2).

Is there a possibilty to change this behavior?
