Maintain and Tracking blocks of Text

I need a way to piece together blocks of text to make up a document. These

blocks need to be tracked and maintained. I've tried your "Live Connection"

and that seems to be what I need. However, I notice that the tag does not

stay persistent when it encounters a new line. Do you have a way to maintain

tags that stay persistent regardless of new line or new paragraph?

Example:

<question1> 1. How would you rate your leader?

    a. Bad

    b. So, so

    c. Good

    d. Excellent

</question1>

<question2> 2. How would you rate your company performance?

    a. Bad

    b. So, so

    c. Good

    d. Excellent

</question2>
