Licencing of the component |

Posted: 10/28/2004 15:29:19 I have a application which needs what TRichView provides. The only problem is that the application is in C#. I have written an ActiveX Form in D7 with the required functionality with the evaluation version of TRichView to see if it all works, which it does, and very nicely I must say. My alterations mainly have to do with the insertion of very specific custom controls in the editor. It all works a treat, and I'm looking now to purchase..... However the thing is I have the feeling that this will violate the licencing agreement for TRichView as it creates another component which mainly exposes the functionality of the editor. If I were to encrypt communication between my C# app and ActiveX form or add licencing to the control or specify in my own product licencing that use of this ActiveX outside of my application is a violation of terms of use, will this ok to avoid any licencing issues? I ould like to know now before I purchase so I can either use it or move onto something else. Kind Regards, Glenn Stephens |
