How to replace a table

How would I replace a table in (RichViewEdit) at a given item. For text,

there is SetItemTextEd, but I don't find a function for Tables (or general

items). I could use delete and insert, but I did not find a deleteItem

function.

In the livelink example, individual cells are updated, but my table can

change it size as well, so it's best to replace it as a whole.

(Has there been a help update lately?)
