Posted: 04/10/2004 10:26:01 This is the algo that seems logical to me. 1) A new character copies (or continues with) the properties/styles of the character at its *left* (at the right for RTL, of course). 2) URLs and such do not have spaces at their ends, so the trainling space should never be a part of the link in the first place; Which means: Any space chars *after* the URL should be automagically converted to i) either the default style, or ii) the style of the char immediately at the *left* of the URL (at the right for RTL, of course). Implicit in all this is that if you declare a piece of string a URL, and it contained preceesing or trailing spaces, RV should (left and right) trim it first. Cheers, Jim |
