Yes, I wanted to embed the RVF file in another file. I just saved to and

loaded from a (C++) std::string that is embedded in the larger file.

Additionally, Notepad messed is up when I changed the extension from txt to

rvf. However, Notepad was only used to make the example I sent you resonable

short. I still have problems with the embedded string version. It's usually

fine if the document is generated by the program, but problems start when I

edit the document before saving. Now that I am aware that RVF depends on

linefeeds, I will have to come up with another solution. Actually the rest

of the file is XML, so I will try to embed it as XML as well. I only have to

find out, how to do something similar to loading picutres without bodies.
