dbrichviewedit background and color

Hello,

When making changes to the background color, margin or background bitmap in

dbrichviewedit, these changes do not get saved in the database *if I do not

do any editing*.  (I am using rvf format and saving in binary format to a

blob field.) 

In other words, if I navigate to a record and only change the background

for in a dbrichviewedit, those changes will not save.

Is there any workaround for this or am I missing something?
