Posted: 03/21/2004 16:05:42 I stepped through the source and in Richviewactions and in the procedure TrvActionCustomColor.ExecuteTarget(Target: TObject); I got an error message Error creating Form: Ancestor for TfrmRVBase not found after F9 at tle line Tfrmcolor(Fcolorpicker).popupat(r) The values for r were: left:222;top:147;right:252;bottom:169;topleft(x:222;y:147);bottomright(x:252 ;y:169) that is a far to small area for the colorpicker. Is that the problem? I agree with you that the only problem is that the colorpicker is not visible on the screen "rvuser" <ihpsoftware@wanadoo.fr> wrote in message news:405d8d3f$1@support.torry.net... No, I took unit3 from the actiondemo and placed it in my app (and added my stuff). The main change was that I changed the coolbar from 3 to 2 bands. The original actiontestdemo works fine. In my app everything works fine, except the color toolbuttons and the menuoptions. I looked for properties, but your remark of 'being not visible' is different point of view. Interesting to expolre.. To be continued :-) "Sergey Tkachenko" <svt@trichview.com> wrote in message news:405d8706$1@support.torry.net... Hmm, does this happen with compiled actiontest demo downloaded from my site? Form loses focus because of showing a colorpicker dialog. I do not know why it's invisible. > I am a bit further: pressing one of the 3 colorbuttons causes the form to > lose focus. > The colordialog does not appear. Neither via the mainmenu... |
