As I understand, you need to store the position in the file.

It's an integer value.

var ini: TIniFile;

ini := TIniFile.Create(LocationOfIniFile + 'BM_ini.ini');

ini.WriteInteger(IniFileSection, 'Bookmark',

RVGetLinearCaretPos(RichViewEdit2));

ini.Free;

When opening the same document, use ini.ReadInteger.
