behavior of GetItemAt or GetCurItem

Hello:

Y try to use the functions GetItemAt or GetCurItem, and I expected that the

result was the item, that is the letter or word over the cursor or the caret

is, but these functions return the complete paragraph. How can obtain the

word or position over the caret or cursor is ?
