absolute cursor position in tables

Hello,

I located your code in the newsgroup showing how to perform a search within

tables. After some experimentation, I understand why the InPlaceEditor item

no and offset must be used. This works fine.

However, I noticed that the item no/offset is relative to the TopLevelEditor

and is not absolute in the entire document. This presents a problem because

I need to save the current cursor position, whether it is in a table or not,

and go back to it later.

Is there a way to return to the same absolute position (for example, the

second item in a table cell)? How do you store this information and then

use it to position the cursor?
