You need to make the following property settings: 1) Set "Allow adding styles dynamically" option for TDBRichViewEdit (right click the component in Delphi, choose "Settings" in the context menu) if you want to use hyperlinks: 2) Include rvoTagsArePChars in Options (you can do it in the same component editor, right click, "Settings", tab "Tags", choose "Tags store strings") 3) Exclude rvoClearTagOnStyleApp from EditorOptions > Hi! > > I have a mdi application and the most of my forms have a TDBRichViewEdit. > I have use TRichvieactions on my main menu to have all commands centralized > for these forms "like ms -word". > > When the form apears with the TDBRichViewEdit and make selections from the > main menu like bold, or bullets etc its woking like a dream. > > But when i save the record and close the form and then reopen the form the > rich view format is gone and the the text that i have wrote is mixed with > some numbers like 0 1 0 10 8 0 0 0 displayed with my text on the > TDBRichViewEdit. > > It's seems that every command that came from the main menu is not save on > the record.
