Posted: 02/17/2004 22:26:34 Here's what I have: in the OnPrint event var lppDBRV: TppDBRichView; lpl: TppDataPipeline; lfld: TField; begin if Sender is TppDBRichView then begin lppdbRV := TppDBRichView(Sender); lpl := lppdbRV.DataPipeline; lfld := TppDBPipeline(lpl).DataSource.DataSet.FieldByName(lppdbRV.DataField); RvHtmlImporter1.RichView := lppdbRV.RichView; RvHtmlImporter1.LoadHtml(lfld.AsString+'testing'); lppdbRV.RichView.Format; end; end; The problem, is the result appears to be over-written by the population of the TppDBRichView from the field. The above approach works fine with a DBRichView component, navigating a dataset and using RvHtmlImporter1.RichView := BRichView1; RvHtmlImporter1.LoadHtml(ADODataSet1.FieldByName('Description').AsString); DBRichView1.Format; in the AfterScroll event of the dataset.
