After revisiting this problem today, I've found them problem.

Line 435 of RVXMLRoutines reads:

end else if Item.Image = Pic.Graphic then

Replacing with:

end else

Allows my XML documents saved with TRichviewXML.SaveSelectionImgToFiles=True

to be displayed correctly. It should work for others too I guess...
