LabelItem is a simple item type. It overrides only drawing, saving and

loading.

Container item (like tables or report you described) is much more complex,

considering all the problems with editing, undo, selection, etc.

And programming interface for internal methods may be changed one day.

Items are not components. It may be more easy for you to make a component

and insert it in TRichView.
