About Windows SmartScreen warning

Post by Sergey Tkachenko »

I renewed a code signing certificate, and, unfortunately, Windows may display a warning when running our setups.
This problem should go away sooner or later, when more people install new versions of our software.

For now, if you download a trial version from https://www.trichview.com/download/, or a full version of our software:

1) If you use Microsoft Edge, it may display a warning like this:
TRichViewTrialSetupDelphi.exe isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust TRichViewTrialSetupDelphi.exe before you opening it.
Right click the downloaded item.
I'd appreciate if you choose "Report this file as safe" and then submit "I think this is a safe website".
Choose "Keep". In the popup window (it must show my name as the developer), click "Show more" and then "Keep anyway".

2) When you run it, Windows Defender SmartScreen may display a window "Windows protected your PC". Click "More info" (you will see my name as the developer) and then "Run anyway",
