The Most Affordable Pressure Washers In 2020: Product-by-Product Reviews
The best pressure washers, while their cleaning power is highly sought-after, can be quite expensive. A good pressure washer in the high-ends could easily set you back by $1,000.00. But what if you want to save some money while still having powerful pressure to clean around the house and fight against stains and grime that traditional cleaning tools like bleach can no longer work against?
Well, this article is here to help! We’re going to show you the most affordable, Best pressure washer brands for your perusal. Read on to see the details.
1. Simpson Megashot
For the impressive level of performance that it offers, the price tag of the Megashot is nothing but surprising. Though having a retail price of $399.00, it is a true workhorse in the form of a high pressure washer.
Equipped with a reliable, heavy duty Honda engine, at its best, the Megashot is capable of producing a water jet with 3,200 PSI worth of water pressure and an average flow rate of about 2.5 GPM. That puts it in the multi-duty range, so the washer can easily handle all tasks thrown at it. Light duty tasks like cleaning the driveway or the garage would be no problem, and heavier duty work like paint prepping or power soaping would be of little challenge to it, as well.
Weighing 65 pounds, it is mounted on top of a solid metal frame and attached to a set of ten-inch wheels for easier maneuvering. It is not difficult at all to move the washer around the house, in fact, we found it to be among the most stable washers we tested, so don’t be too put off by the weight.
But keep in mind that even though it’s got amazing capability, it is still a domestic power washer. It is not meant for all-day work. For that, you have to look to commercial-grade power washers.
Definitely one of the best gas powered washers, for sure.

2. Sun Joe SPX3000
The Sun Joe SPX3000 is the top affordable performer on the electric pressure washer market. The SPX3000 is at the top of the bestselling charts for the kind of great performance it offers for the price tag, similar to the Megashot.
At its maximum setting, the electric motor inside can generate 2,000 PSI of pressure and a respectable flow rate of 1.7 GPM. When compared to other great electric pressure washers, the SPX3000 is one of the strongest. Though the numbers only put it in the medium-duty range (fitted for most cleaning jobs but heavier duty tasks like paint prepping are out of the question), that will be what most homeowners need, anyway.
It is not equipped with hose reels. Instead, the most interesting design detail of the SPX3000 is the dual detergent tanks packed inside of the washer. This makes injecting cleaning chemicals into the water spray a complete breeze.
