Hello,
I'm in the process of updating from an older version to 17.2.1 (also updating from Berlin to Tokyo).
I am seeing a slight difference in table cell heights between the versions. It's minor, but over the height of a page, I'm losing about three lines. I am doing a mail merge with some table heavy layouts. The difference in height is causing items to bump down to the next page.
The .rv files have not changed between the versions.
I don't have that may templates that are affected, so I can go edit them to gain the space back. But I can't find anything that fixes this. I can make the table smaller if I drop down to a smaller font, but my users won't let me do that.
I've attached an image showing the difference. This is our template editor showing the new file on the left compared to the original file on the right.
Is this expected? Is there anything I can change to pick back up those few pixels?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Slight table size difference in version 17
Which version of TRichView did you use before?
Re: Slight table size difference in version 17
We were on 16.5 (and Berlin). The screenshot was taken by running our old build exe side by side with the new version.

Re: Slight table size difference in version 17
I compared results of the new version and version 16.5.1 and they looks identical.
Maybe this is just a scaling issue, so it affects only displaying, not page format?
I loaded your file in the ScaleRichView\Demos\ActionTest\ demo, paused and checked in the "Evaluate\Modify" window:
Internal coordinates of the first table:
Form3.SRichViewEdit1.RichViewEdit.RVData.DrawItems[0].Top = 38
Form3.SRichViewEdit1.RichViewEdit.RVData.DrawItems[0].Height = 19
Internal coordinates of the second table:
Form3.SRichViewEdit1.RichViewEdit.RVData.DrawItems[0].Top = 57
Form3.SRichViewEdit1.RichViewEdit.RVData.DrawItems[0].Height = 287
These coordinates are the same in the both versions.
