Rich View text garbled

Using RichView for years storing notes in SQL ntext fields. Have a customer who only sees garbled text and numbers in richview field. He emailed me the stuff and I paste into ntext field of database and get garbled results. He is using windows 7. This is not in reporting it is in richview component viewing on the screen.

Does anyone have any idea or suggestions?
