Speed Problem

I'm using D7, TRichview 1.9 and Addict 3.4. I have a user reporting that the first time they start to edit there is a 1-2 second delay. After that, the edits are almost instantaneous. There is no other database related slowness. I've made sure that everything is running off their local machine (i.e. no network) and disabled Virus Checking for the data directory. Still no improvement. I cannot duplicate the problem. Any suggestions where to look?

Do you use live spelling? May be the delay is while the spelling engine is initializing.

Yes I do use live spelling. However, it is only this one client who reports a problem. I trying to come up with ideas of where to look on their system for the problem.
