There are methods for saving text to file and stream.

There is no PlainText property, but you can convert document to plain text

and disallow entering anything but text.


And for TDBRichViewEdit, there is FieldFormat property defining format

(native format / RTF / plain text) in which document will be saved in the

field (loading from field autodetects format)
